Tool #4: Motor Controllers!

What are motor controllers?

Motor controllers are essentially, well, they operate the speed and direction of rotation of the motor. You use motor controllers in your daily humanoid life. For example:

  • controls for toy cars
  • district controls that pump water into your home

I use motor controls to pump different fluids in my spaceship to where I desire. I can tell where it goes by looking at the different lights that light up on my control board. Each motor has four lights. When all lights are on and at the same brightness the electricity is on, but no pumping takes place. By comparing the brightness of certain lights, I can tell you the speed of the pump and the direction the fluids are being pumped. Can you guess how this motor controller is designed?
