This is a simple, nifty, hands-on experiment that may be performed with little expense at home. Light bulbs act as simple switches to control the rotation of the rotor. With a twist of a bulb or two, the rotor of the motor rotates clockwise, counter clockwise, or just stops. Watch the brightness of the bulbs change as you control the motion of your rotor. A parts list is provided at the end of the presentation.
